OPERATION
STARTING AND STOPPING
See Figures 8 - 9.
TO START:
nPlace the blower on a flat, bare surface. �n Disengage the trigger lock.
nPush the primer bulb, slowly, 7 times.
nDo not engage the handle while starting.
nSet choke to START position.
nPull the starter handle until the engine runs.
nAllow the engine to run 15 seconds, then engage the trigger to operate
TO STOP:
Release the trigger and press STOP until the engine stops.
TO REMOVE BLOWER:
nMove harness straps off your shoulders and let straps slide down arms.
nGrasp the straps and lower the blower to the ground.
WARNING
Do not allow familiarity with the product to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict severe injury.
OPERATING THE BLOWER
See Figure 10.
nSlip arm through harness strap and onto shoulder, then repeat for the other shoulder. Adjust the straps to a comfortable position. Refer to Adjusting Harness Straps earlier in this manual. Then remove unit for starting.
nStart the blower. Refer to Starting and Stopping earlier in this manual.
nPut on the blower again. The unit should be operated from the right side as shown in figure 10.
nTo keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer edges of a debris pile. Never blow directly into the center of a pile.
nTo reduce sound levels, limit the number of pieces of equipment used at any one time.
nOperate blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to do the job.
nCheck your equipment before operation, especially the muffler, air intakes, and air filters.
nUse rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing. In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water is available.
