The INPUT SELECT SWITCH (6) on the rear of the CDR510 must be to the left to select the BALANCED IN inputs. ANALOG must also be selected by pressing and releasing the INPUT button on the front of the CDR510 so ANALOG is

displayed.

Plug L and R RCA jacks in here to connect to the Line level output jacks of an external pre-ampli- fier, mixer or other audio device.

The INPUT SELECT SWITCH (6) on the rear of the CDR510 must be to the left to select the BALANCED IN inputs. ANALOG must also be selected by pressing and releasing the INPUT button on the front of the CDR510 so ANALOG is displayed.

6.INPUT SELECT switch This switch selects between the BALANCED IN (XLR) jacks and the ANALOG IN (RCA) jacks for analog input for recording on the CDR drive.

The TRIM is factory preset at +16 dBu with an adjustment range from 0 to +22 dBu.

Some professionals prefer to first set the TRIM using a meter and to do a fine adjustment by listening for distortion and watching the level meters on the CDR510.

ANALOG must also be selected by pressing and releasing the INPUT button on the front of the CDR510 so ANALOG is displayed.
