CARE AND MAINTENANCE

ENGINE:

For complete maintenance and operating information of the engine, please refer to the maintenance instructions furnished by the engine manufaturer and included in your Zero Turn Radius Mower information packet.

Note: Air intake screen must be kept clean. If plugged, engine may be seriously damaged by over heating.

CAUTION

BATTERY:

Battery electrolyte is a poisonous and corrosive acid solution. Avoid spilling on skin,

Check the fluid in the battery at frequent intervals.

Keep fluid level above the plates in each cell, using distilled water.

OFF SEASON BATTERY STORAGE:

Identify each cable so cables can be reconnected to correct terminals.

Disconnect cables from terminals.

ALWAYS disconnect ground cable first and reconnect last.

Charge battery.

DO NOT remove battery from mower.

Clean top of battery and terminals with baking soda and water.

TIRES:

 

Correct tire pressure is essential for efficient operation of the mower. Check

tire

pressure periodically. Inflate tires to the pressure listed below.

 

Front tires

-12 lbs.

 

Rear tires

-

12 lbs.

Lug nuts or lug bolts should be checked regularly for tightness.
