CARE AND MAINTENANCE

MOWER DECK LEVELING PROCEDURE:

Before performing any service or adjustment check list:

1.Engage parking brake.

2.Place blade-switch in the disengaged position.

3.Turn ignition switch to “OFF” position and remove key.

4.Make sure blades and all moving parts have com- pletely stopped.

5.Disconnect spark plug wire from all spark plugs and place wire where it cannot come in contact with plug.

Blades are sharp. Protect your hands with gloves and/or wrap blades with a heavy cloth when handling.

1.Position the mower on a level, hard surface

2.Check the pressure in all four tires. See “Technical Data” section in this manual.

3.Set deck cutting height at 4".

4.Rotate blades to align front to back.

5.Measure front blade tip, should be 4” from ground, if not turn locknut on top of front eyebolt till measurement is achieved. Check blade tip at front on opposite front blade. Adjust locknut on front eyebolt as necessary.
