LIFT ARM

FIRST

TROUBLESHOOTING

IF FILL VALVE SHUTS OFF BUT CONTINUES TO LEAK SLOWLY, repeat Step 13.

IF FILL VALVE TURNS OFF AND ON DURING PERIODS OF NON-USE, it is a signal you are wasting water because:

The end of the refill tube is inserted into overflow pipe, below water level in tank. Attach refill tube to overflow pipe using "S" clip provided.

The flush valve is leaking because it's worn, dirty or misaligned with tank ball or flapper (replace with a new flapper).

IMPORTANT: Always clear sand and rust from system.

Make sure water supply is off. Remove valve TOP by lifting arm and rotating top and arm 1/8 turn counterclockwise, pressing down slightly on cap.

While holding a container over the uncapped VALVE to prevent splashing, turn water supply on and off a few times. Leave water supply off.

Replace TOP by engaging lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise. MAKE CERTAIN TIP IS TURNED TO THE LOCKED POSITION. VALVE MAY NOT TURN ON IF TOP IS NOT FULLY TURNED TO THE LOCKED POSITION.

IF FILL VALVE WON'T TURN ON OR SHUT OFF or REFILL OF TANK WATER IS SLOW after valve has been in use for some time, Fluidmaster Model 242 Replacement Seal may be needed.

BOULEVARD Dual Flush One-Piece Toilet, 2891 specifications

The American Standard 2891, Boulevard Dual Flush One-Piece Toilet is an exemplary blend of style, efficiency, and innovative technology, catering to the modern bathroom's demands. This toilet is designed for maximum functionality while maintaining a sleek aesthetic that complements various bathroom decors.

One of the standout features of the Boulevard toilet is its dual flush system. This technology provides users with the option of a full flush or a reduced flush, allowing for greater water conservation. The full flush option typically uses 1.6 gallons per flush (GPF), while the reduced flush uses only 0.92 GPF. This not only helps in preserving water resources but also translates to lower water bills, making it an environmentally friendly choice.

The one-piece design of the Boulevard toilet is a significant advantage, offering a seamless look that is easier to clean. Traditional two-piece models often have crevices where dirt and grime can accumulate, but the streamlined nature of this design simplifies maintenance and upkeep. The smooth, compact form also fits comfortably in smaller spaces without sacrificing style or comfort.

With respect to performance, the Boulevard toilet comes equipped with American Standard’s patented siphon jet flushing system. This system ensures a powerful flush with every use, effectively clearing waste while maintaining efficient water usage. Additionally, it features a large trapway that helps prevent clogs and enhances drainage efficiency.

In terms of comfort, the Boulevard toilet includes a comfortable height design, making it easier for individuals of all ages to sit down and stand up. The seat height mimics that of a standard chair, which is especially beneficial for those with mobility issues, providing a more natural seating position.

Moreover, the Boulevard toilet is designed with a EverClean surface, which inhibits the growth of stains and odors from bacteria, mold, and mildew. This innovative coating helps maintain the toilet’s pristine appearance with minimal effort.

In conclusion, the American Standard 2891, Boulevard Dual Flush One-Piece Toilet combines modern technology with thoughtful design, promoting both efficiency and style. Its dual flush capability, one-piece construction, robust performance, comfort height, and easy-to-clean surface make it an ideal choice for anyone looking to upgrade their bathroom experience.
