HOW TO REPLACE THE AIR FILTER
Replace the air filter once a year or more often in dusty or dirty conditions. DO NOT attempt to clean or oil the air filter. Remove and install a new air filter as follows:
5.Put the new air filter into the cover.
6.Push the cover firmly against the flange. Turn the cover counterclockwise until tight. Be sure the retainers are locked around the flange.
CAUTION: Never run the engine without the air filter installed. An air filter clogged with dust can result in loss of engine power and can cause excessive wear or damage to the engine. If the air filter is clogged, re- place immediately.
