EC-declaration of conformity (Applies to Europe only)

Husqvarna AB, SE-561 82 Huskvarna, Sweden, tel: +46-36-146500, declares under sole responsibility that the chain saws Husqvarna 345, 346XP and 353 from 2002's serial numbers and onwards (the year is clearly stated in plain text on the type plate with subsequent serial number), are in conformity with the requirements of the COUNCIL'S DIRECTIVES:

-of June 22, 1998 ”relating to machinery” 98/37/EC, annex IIA.

-of May 3, 1989 ”relating to electromagnetic compatibility” 89/336/EEC, and applicable supplements.

-of May 8, 2000 ”relating to the noise emissions in the environment” 2000/14/EC.

The following standards have been applied: EN292-2, CISPR 12:1997, EN608.

Notified body: 0404, SMP Svensk Maskinprovning AB, Fyrisborgsgatan 3, SE-754 50 Uppsala, Sweden, has carried out EC type examination in accordance with the machinery directive's (98/37/EC) article 8, point 2c. The certificates for EC type examination in accordance with annex VI, have the numbers: 404/00/795 – 345 TAC, 404/00/794 – 346XP/G TAC, 346XP/G E-tech TAC, 404/02/899 - 353/G TAC, 353/G E-tech TAC.

In addition, SMP, Svensk Maskinprovning AB, Fyrisborgsgatan 3, SE-754 50 Uppsala, Sweden, has certified conformity with annex V of the Council's Directive of May 8, 2000 ”relating to the noise emissions in the environment” 2000/14/EC. The certificates have the numbers: 01/161/001– 345 TAC, 01/161/002 – 346XP/G TAC, 01/161/003 – 346XP/G E-tech TAC, 01/161/045

353/G TAC, 01/161/046 - 353/G E-tech TAC.

The supplied chain saw conforms to the example that underwent EC type examination.
