Before using a new saw

Read the instructions carefully.

Check cutting equipment is correctly fitted and adjusted. See page 25.

Refuel and start the saw. Check the carburetor settings. See pages 26-29.

Do not use the saw until sufficient chain oil has reached the chain, see page 14.

IMPORTANT! If the carburetor mixture is too lean it greatly increases the risk of engine failure.

Poor maintenance of the air filter will cause carbon build-up on the spark plug and lead to difficult starting.

If the chain is badly adjusted it will cause increased wear or damage to the bar, drive sprocket and chain.

Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emission control devices and systems may be performed by any nonroad engine repair establishment or individual.

WARNING!

Under no circumstances may the design of the machine be modified without the permis- sion of the manufacturer. Always use genuine spare parts/accessories. Non-authorized modifications and/or accessories can result in serious personal injury or the death of the operator or others.

Your warranty may not cover damage or liability caused by the use of non-authorized accessories or replacement parts.

A chain saw is a dangerous tool if used carelessly or incorrectly and can cause serious, even fatal injuries. It is very important that you read and understand these instructions.

Warning! The inside of the muffler with catalytic converter contains chemicals that may cause cancer. Do not contact inside of damaged muffler.

355 specifications

The Husqvarna 355 is a powerful and versatile chainsaw designed for professionals and avid woodworkers alike. This model is engineered to deliver optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability, making it a popular choice for various cutting tasks in forestry, landscaping, and wood processing.

One of the standout features of the Husqvarna 355 is its robust 50.2cc engine, which provides sufficient power for demanding cutting jobs. The chainsaw operates at a speed of up to 9,000 RPM, ensuring efficient and smooth cuts through even the toughest of materials. The air injection system plays a crucial role in enhancing the engine's performance by removing larger dust and debris particles before they can enter the air filter. This results in reduced filter cleaning and increased overall engine life.

The Husqvarna 355 is also designed with user comfort in mind. It includes an ergonomic handle that minimizes vibrations during operation, making prolonged use less taxing on the operator. Additionally, the lightweight design of the chainsaw allows for greater maneuverability, ensuring that users can navigate through various cutting scenarios without fatigue.

Safety is paramount in the design of the Husqvarna 355. It features a low kickback chain that significantly reduces the risk of kickback injuries, a common concern among chainsaw users. The chain brake system offers an added layer of protection, automatically engaging if the chainsaw experiences sudden upward movement. Furthermore, the chainsaw includes a throttle lock and a comfortable rear handle, ensuring safe operation.

Maintenance is simplified with the Husqvarna 355, thanks to its quick-release air filter and easy-access spark plug. These features allow users to perform maintenance tasks efficiently, ensuring the chainsaw remains in peak condition and ready for use.

Incorporating advanced technology, the Husqvarna 355 utilizes the X-Torq engine, which reduces fuel consumption and emissions. This environmentally friendly design contributes to making the chainsaw compliant with various regulations concerning emissions, while also lowering operational costs for users.

Overall, the Husqvarna 355 stands out in the competitive chainsaw market due to its combination of power, versatility, user-friendly features, and safety systems. Whether tackling large trees or performing detailed woodworking tasks, this chainsaw promises reliability and efficiency for both professionals and hobbyists.
