When attachingor detaching the hood, grasp
the base
of
the hoodto
tu
rn
it. Toprevent
deformation, do notgrasp the rim of the hood to
turn it.
The ET-67B hood can keep unwanted lightout of
the lens, and also protects the lens from rain,
snow, and dust.
To attach the hood, align the hood with the lens
hoodmount, then turn the hood clockwise to
secure
it.
The hood can be reverse-mounted
on
the lens
for storage.
