Resettingthepatroncounter
Note:ThisprocedureexplainshowtoresetthepatroncountthatisdisplayedexternallyateachlatticeontheLEDscreennextto
thephotocelllens.Thisisdifferentfromthepatroncountthateachlatticemaintainsinternallyandappearsinthe3M™Stats
&StatusSoftwarefor3M™DetectionSystemModel8900–9900Series.Forinformationabouttheinternalpatroncount,
refertothe3M™Stats&StatusSoftwarefor3M™DetectionSystemModel8900–9900SeriesAdministrator’sGuide.
Thefollowingprocedureprovidesawaytoresetthepatroncountdisplayedinthepatroncounterwindowofeachlattice.
Tip:Tokeeptrackofthetotalpatroncount,recordthenumberdisplayedinthepatroncounterdisplaywindowbeforeresetting
thepatroncounter.

Toresetthepatroncounter

1.Locatetheaccessholefortheresetbutton,nexttothepatroncounterwindow.
2.Partiallystraightenapaperclip.
3.Gentlypushthepaperclipstraightintotheaccesshole,
approximately1/4in[6mm]untiltheresetbuttonclicks,
andthenremovethepaperclip.
Tip:Directthepaperclipstraightintotheholetocontact
theresetbutton.
