Performing a Quality Control Check

1.Open test strip vial and remove test strip. Replace vial cap.

2. Within 3 minutes, insert test strip (yellow window facing up) into test strip slot. The meter turns on automatically.

Check that the code

number on the meter matches the code on the

vial of test strips you are using. The test strip symbol stops flashing and a blood

drop symbol appears on the display.

3.Press and release the right arrow button once to select a L1 (Level 1) control or twice to select a L2 (Level 2) control.

Note: Results marked as L1 or L2 do not appear
