3.9.1 Setup Password
The Setup Password prevents unauthorized access to the BIOS utility.

Setting a Password

1. Make sure that switch no. 2 of SW1 is set to Off (bypass password).
You cannot enter the BIOS utility if a Setup
password does not exist and switch no. 2 of SW1
is set to On (password check enabled).
By default, switch no. 2 of SW1 is set to Off
(bypass password).
2. Enter the BIOS utility and select System Security.
3. Highlight the Setup Password parameter and press or . The following screen
appears:
