4. Troubleshooting If you encounter some problems while installing the IEEE802.11b WLAN PC card or
you want to confirm whether your card is installed properly, refer to the procedure
below after you have installed the card.
4.1 Check the Various Properties of the Card To verify if your PC Card has been set in the PCMCIA slot properly, you
can follow the procedures below.
• Click the “ Control Panel “ and then the “ PC Card “. Check the Socket Status of
PC Card Properties whether there is a PCMCIA card in one of the sockets. If you
find IEEE802.11b WLAN Adapter (PCMCIA) in one of the sockets, it means a
card is detected as the following picture.
