Chapter 2 Setting Up the Modem
Basic Setup
1. If “Basic Setup” was chosen, the following window appears. Enter the appro-
priate user name and password in the text boxes. If no user name and pass-
word are needed, click on the check box next to “My ISP does not require this
information.” Click Next.
2. The next window appears, and then a prompt requesting the user to restart
the computer will appear. Select Ye s .
3. When the computer has rebooted, the Modem is properly set up.
