You will get a trouble message if the system loses power, if it cannot reset the smoke detector, or if it cannot contact an ADT
Customer Monitoring Center.

Standard Keypad

2. Press the OPTIONS key and the 9 key once more. One of the keypad’s zone lights may blink; compare it to the
following table. If none of the conditions exists, the keypad returns to its normal state.
1. Observe which of the keypad’s icons are lit and note any letters that may appear in the numeric display. Match the
keypad’s message to the following table, then turn to the section listed in the table’s second column for further
information and instructions.
