Chapter 2 System Setup2.1 A Quick Tour of the MDPC-4090
Before you start to set up the MDPC-4090, take a moment to become
familiar with the locations and purposes of the controls, drives, connec-
tions and ports, which are illustrated in the figures below.
The LED in the front bezel indicates the power on and off status. When
MDPC-4090 is on, the LED will be green, and if power is off, the LED
will not be lit.
When you place MDPC-4090 upright on a desktop, the front cover and
power switch will be as shown in Figure 2-1.

When you open the slide cover downwards, you will see the CD-ROM
drive behind the slide cover, as shown in Figure 2-2.
