11.1Access WAP menu (1)

WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is a service that allows you to access the mobile Internet, where you can obtain information such as weather conditions, stock market information, traffic information, etc.

-Homepage” launches the WAP browser on the homepage of the default profile.

-Bookmarks” gives access the list of your favourite sites or add new sites to them.

-Profiles” lists the Wap profiles.

-Enter address” allows you to directly access the WAP page for which you enter the URL address.

11.2Programming your access (2)

Select a profile from the “Profiles” list and access the following options by pressing the key:

To “Create” or “Modify” a profile, you are required to replace the following parameters (1):

-Profile name

-Homepage

-IP address

-Security

-Bearer choice

-Validate

In the “Bearer choice” item you can choose the transmission mode: GPRS/GSM, GPRS or GSM.

When you select the GPRS/ GSM transmission mode, GSM mode is activated if GPRS mode is not available.

If you select the GPRS transmission mode, select a GPRS bearer and then fill in the following parameters (1):

-Authentication (user name and password)

-APN

If you select the GSM transmission mode, select a GSM bearer and then fill in the following parameters (1):

Launch Launch WAP with this profile even if another one is selected as default one.

Activate Select the current profile as default one (this option is not displayed if it is already selected).

Create

Enter the parameters of a new

Modify

Modify the parameters of a

Delete

Delete the selected profile.
