VLAN ID The VLAN ID specifies the VLAN identifier. It is the number of the VLAN where the port is an untagged member. You must assign a VLAN ID to a VLAN. The range is 1 to 4094. The default VLAN has a VLAN ID of 0.

To assign a VLAN ID, do the following:

1.For Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP systems, access the System Properties Dialog Box. See “Modifying Configuration Properties” on page 39.

For Windows 2008 R2, Windows 7, and Windows Vista systems, access the Device Manger for your operating system:

2.Click the Advanced tab.

3.Under Property list on the Advanced tab, select VLAN ID.

4.From the Value list on the Advanced tab, choose a VLAN ID from 1 to 4094.
