LIFT ARM

FIRST

IMPORTANT: Always clear sand and rust from system. Make sure water supply is off.

Remove valve TOP by lifting arm and rotating top and arm 1/8 turn counterclockwise, pressing down slightly on cap.

TROUBLESHOOTING FILL VALVE

While holding a container over the uncapped VALVE to prevent splashing, turn water supply on and off a few times. Leave water supply off.

Replace TOP by engaging lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise.

MAKE CERTAIN TIP IS TURNED TO THE LOCKED POSITION. VALVE MAY NOT TURN ON IF TOP IS NOT FULLY TURNED TO THE LOCKED POSITION.

IF FILL VALVE SHUTS OFF BUT CONTINUES TO LEAK SLOWLY, repeat Step 14.

IF FILL VALVE TURNS OFF AND ON DURING PERIODS OF NON-USE, it is a signal you are wasting water because:

The end of the refill tube is inserted into overflow pipe, below water level in tank. Attach refill tube to overflow pipe using "S" clip provided.

The flush valve is leaking because it's worn, dirty or misaligned (replace seal or flush valve).

IF FILL VALVE WON'T TURN ON OR SHUT OFF or REFILL OF TANK WATER IS SLOW after valve has been in use for some time, Fluidmaster

Model 242 Replacement Seal may be needed.

The American Standard 2073 is a standout toilet model known for its advanced features and exceptional performance. Designed with both comfort and efficiency in mind, the 2073 merges innovative technology with elegant design, making it a popular choice for modern bathrooms.

One of the main features of the American Standard 2073 is its powerful flushing system. Equipped with the proprietary VorMax flushing technology, this toilet delivers a powerful and rimless bowl that ensures superior cleaning. The design eliminates the need for complex flushing mechanisms, providing a consistent and effective flush every time, which minimizes clogs and reduces water usage.

Water conservation is a key characteristic of the American Standard 2073. This toilet operates at a reduced water consumption rate of 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF), which is significantly lower than traditional toilets that often use 1.6 GPF or more. This eco-friendly design not only helps save water but also reduces the household water bill, making it a smart investment for environmentally-conscious homeowners.

The American Standard 2073 also features a Comfort Height design, which raises the toilet seat height to make sitting and standing easier for people of all ages. This height is especially beneficial for the elderly and those with mobility issues, providing enhanced accessibility.

Installation and maintenance are made easier with the innovative design of the 2073. Its pre-installed slow-close seat reduces the risk of slamming, making it more durable while enhancing user comfort. The toilet's surface is coated with a special EverClean finish that helps prevent the growth of stains and odors, leading to a fresh and sanitary bathroom environment.

In terms of style, the American Standard 2073 boasts a sleek and modern aesthetic that can seamlessly fit into any bathroom décor. Available in a variety of colors, it allows homeowners to match their toilet with their existing fixtures while elevating the overall look of the space.

In conclusion, the American Standard 2073 combines cutting-edge flushing technology, water-saving capabilities, and user-friendly features to create a high-performance toilet that caters to modern needs.
