1.2Unpacking and Inspection
Perform the following inspection upon receipt of the unit:
1.Unpack and check the unit for shipping damage. If equipment is damaged notify the carrier immediately.
2.Check equipment received against the packing list to ensure that the shipment is complete. If any shortages exist, promptly contact the sales representative.
1.3Rack Mounting
Ampex ships the ATM as a desk top unit. However, the unit can be mounted into a standard

The ATM unit provides fiber optic connectors on the front panel and HOTLink connectors on the rear panel. Figure 2 shows the cable connections. See Table 1 for cable specifications.
