CRA-200 Quick Installation Guide

Upgrading Your Firmware

IMPORTANT: Before you perform the upgrade, make note of any account and server settings, plus any other unique configurations you have set up on your device.

1.From your Internet browser, enter the WAN IP address of the device to bring up the Web Configuration Login

page.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the PC being used for upgrading is not directly connected to the LAN port of the device prior to upgrading. Performing the firmware upgrade procedure in this manner may result in device failure.

2.Enter the login information to enter the Web Configuration Manager.

(Upon login, you should be directed to the Diagnostic page.)

3.Click on the ATA Config tab, and then click on the “Firmware Upgrade” link.

4.From the Firmware Upgrade page, select the “Browse…” button and select the firmware file from your local PC directory.

5.Once the file has been selected and the directory location is visible in the ATA Firmware Upgrade File: line entry box, select the Update button.

(A pop‐up window should appear with a warning to not disrupt the power connection during the upgrade procedure.)

6.Start the upgrade procedure by clicking OK. Initially, the screen goes blank. You will then see an upgrade status indicator, which notes completion progress of the upgrade (i.e., 67% done).

7.Once the upgrade completes, a new pop‐up window will inform you that the device will automatically reboot. Click OK.

(The browser window should close on its own unless the browser window has other page tabs opened in that window, such as with IE 7 or Firefox browsers.)

8.Wait about 5 minutes for the device to complete the reboot. You can verify this by checking to see that the WAN light on the box starts to flicker (indicating network activity).

9.After verifying that the device has rebooted, hold down the red RESET button on the back of the device (in between the PHONE2 port and the power slot).

Hold this button down for about 7‐10 seconds until you see all the LED lights turn off except for the POWER light. (This is necessary in order to clear the cache memory upon upgrading. After the device reboots, you will need to re‐enter your device configuration.)

CRA-200 specifications

Analog Devices has long been at the forefront of innovation in the realm of data converters and signal processing technology. Among its notable offerings, the CRA-200 stands out as a versatile and powerful solution for a variety of applications. This article delves into the key features, technologies, and characteristics that define the Analog Devices CRA-200, showcasing its remarkable capabilities in the industry.

The CRA-200 is designed primarily for precision data acquisition and processing applications, making it an ideal choice for industrial automation, automotive systems, and consumer electronics. It incorporates an advanced architecture that allows for high-performance analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversions. One of its main features is the high-resolution capability, which can reach up to 24 bits, enabling it to capture fine variations in signals. This ensures that users get accurate and reliable data, essential for critical decision-making processes.

One of the standout technologies integrated into the CRA-200 is its Sigma-Delta modulation. This technology improves noise performance and increases linearity, providing significant benefits in applications that demand precision. The Sigma-Delta architecture allows for oversampling and noise shaping, which enhances the system's ability to reject out-of-band noise. This is particularly crucial in environments where electromagnetic interference is a concern, ensuring the integrity of the captured signals.

In addition to its high-resolution and low-noise capabilities, the CRA-200 features an integrated temperature sensor, which is a valuable addition for applications that require temperature monitoring alongside data acquisition. The temperature sensor facilitates real-time adjustments and compensations, ensuring optimal performance under varying environmental conditions.

Another characteristic that sets the CRA-200 apart is its connectivity options. The device supports multiple interfaces, including SPI and I2C, providing flexibility for integration into different system architectures. This interoperability simplifies design processes and allows engineers to seamlessly incorporate the CRA-200 into existing systems.

Lastly, the CRA-200 is designed with power efficiency in mind. Its low power consumption makes it suitable for battery-operated devices and reduces the overall energy footprint in industrial systems. With its combination of precision, advanced technology, and efficient design, the Analog Devices CRA-200 continues to be a valuable asset in the ever-evolving landscape of data acquisition and signal processing solutions.
