ATTACHING THE CLIPPER COMBS
(Not always included with purchase of clipper)
The clipper comb blade attachments mount easily. Just snap them on.
Snap them off. Combs help guide hair to cutting blades and give you precise control of hair lengths. Each comb allows a different length of cut which is indicated on the combs:
1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" & 1".
You can always set the blades for a coarser cut by attaching any of the
your Andis Clipper/Trimmer.
To use blade attachment, slip the cutter blade teeth into blade attach-
ment. Snap the blade attachment
down, they snap on and off easily. These attachments guide hair into the clipper blades and give you precise control of hair lengths. The length of trim is indicated on the blade attachment: 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" & 1". Use the following chart to find the approximate lengths of cut. Different blade angles in rela- tion to the skin, thickness and texture of the hair will vary the cut- ting length.
CLIPPER BLADE ADJUSTMENT
Your Andis Adjustable Clipper Blade set is easy to adjust. From coarse to fine cuts, all that’s needed is a flick of the adjustment lever with your thumb. In the upright position, blades are set for the finest, or shortest cuts.

FACTORY REPAIR SERVICE
When the blades of your Andis clipper/trimmer become dull after repeated use, it is advised to purchase a new set of blades avail- able through your Andis Supplier or through an Andis Authorized Repair Station listed in this manual. (On Models ML, & SM, only blade sets can be resharpened by an Authorized Andis Repair Service Station. Please check the blades for missing teeth, as this is considered a broken blade and not resharpenable). If you wish your clipper/trimmer to be serviced as well, it should be carefully packed and mailed either Parcel Post Insured, or U.P.S. to any of the Service Centers listed in this manual.
LIMITED WARRANTY
This Andis product is warranted against defective material or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. All implied warranties arising and by virtue of State law shall also be limited to one year. Any Andis product determined to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period will be repaired or replaced without cost to the consumer for parts and labor. The defec- tive product must be returned with proof of purchase and $6.50 to cover cost of handling, to any Authorized Andis Repair Station or to: Andis, 1800 Renaissance Blvd, Sturtevant, Wisconsin 53177 USA or IN CANADA to: A & AG AGENCIES (CANADA), INC. 10050 Côte de Liesse, Lachine, Québec, H8T 1A3 CANADA. Enclose or attach a letter describing the nature of the problem. Due to foreign matter sometimes found in hair, clipper blades, or resharpening of blades, are not subject to the one year warranty. Andis will not be liable under this warranty for any defect, failure or malfunction of any of its products caused by normal wear, abuse, misuse, unauthorized adjustments or dissembling. Andis will not be liable for any consequential damages resulting from any defect in material or workmanship of any of its products. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or exclusion or limitation of incidental or con- sequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. The Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from State to State.
