Proper installation is imperative to maximize the APC Modular Panel SPD’s
effectiveness and performance. The installer should follow the steps outlined
in this instruction manual to ensure proper installation.

Inspect the entire shipping container for damage or signs of mi shandling
before unpacking the device. Remove the packing material and fur ther
inspect the device for any obvious shipping damage. If any damage is
found and is a result of shipping or handling, immediately file a c laim with
the shipping company.
The device should be stored in a clean, dry environme nt. Storage
temperature is -40 to +65 °C (-40 to +149 °F). All of the packaging
materials should be left intact until the device is ready for insta llation.

· Always use a properly rated voltage sensing device to conf irm
power is off.
· Replace all devices, doors and covers b efore turning on power to this
equipment.
