Cleaning Your iMac
Follow these guidelines when cleaning the outside of your iMac and its components:
ÂShut down your iMac and disconnect all cables.
ÂUse a damp, soft, lint-free cloth to clean the iMac computer’s exterior. Avoid getting
moisture in any openings. Do not spray liquid directly on the iMac.
ÂDon’t use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives.

Cleaning Your iMac Display

To clean your iMac screen, do the following:
ÂShut down your iMac and disconnect all cables.
ÂDampen a clean, soft, lint-free cloth with water only and wipe the screen. Do not
spray liquid directly on the screen.
Carrying Your iMac
Before you lift or reposition your iMac, you may need to disconnect all cables and cords
connected to it.
To lift or move your iMac, hold the sides of the computer.
