What You Need to Get Started

To use iPod mini with a Macintosh, you must have:

•A Macintosh with:

•Built-in high-power USB 2.0

•Or built in FireWire and the optional iPod Dock Connector to FireWire Cable



High-power USB 2.0 port			6-pin FireWire 400 port

Note: The iPod Dock Connector to FireWire Cable is available for purchase at www.ipod.com/store.

•Mac OS X v10.2.8, or Mac OS X v10.3.4 or later

•iTunes 4.7 or later (iTunes is included on the iPod CD)
