NOTHING HAPPENS (SCREEN FAILS TO LIGHT UP) WHEN THE SWITCH IS IN EITHER THE ON OR ON/LIGHT POSITION
*Battery not connected. Properly connect the battery: red to red, black to black.

*Camera cable is disconnected. (Plug the camera cable into the "Camera In" jack.

*With a screwdriver, screw the bolts through the predrilled holes. (The holes are a little undersized for firmly gripping the bolts to prevent their loss.)

I GET NO DIRECTIONAL DISPLAY ON THE SCREEN - NO ARROW (RELATIVE DIRECTION MODE) AND/OR NO COMPASS READING (ABSOLUTE DIRECTION MODE)
*The unit might be in the wrong mode. Remember Standard Operating mode doesn’t display direction information. With unit turned on, try pressing the MODE button (below handle on Carrying Shuttle) to change modes. Press it again and pause. Press it again.
