4.Fan control setting (3-pin FAN_SEL1, FAN_SEL2)

These jumpers allow you to switch for fan pin selection. The FAN_SEL1 jumper is for the CPU fans control and FAN_SEL2 is for the other fans control including front fans, rear fans and FB-DIMM fans. Set to pins 1-2 for 4-pin fans or pins 2-3 for 3-pin fans.

•If you use a 4-pin fan but set the jumper to pin 2-3, the fan you installed may not work.

•If you use a 3-pin fan but set the jumper for a 4-pin fan, the fan controll will not work and the fan you installed will always run at full speed.

5.Intel® 6321ESB SATA port S/W RAID setting (3-pin RAID_SEL1) (DSEB-D16 model only)

This jumper allows you to select the Serial ATA RAID configuration utility to use when you create disk arrays. Both utilities are supported by the

Intel® 6321ESB. Place the jumper caps on pins 1-2 if you want to use the LSI

Software RAID Configuration Utility (default); otherwise, place the jumper caps on pins 2-3 to use the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager (IMSM).
