Deleting a RAID set

Take caution when deleting a RAID set. You will lose all data on the hard disk drives when you delete a RAID set.

To delete a RAID set:

1.From the utility main menu, select [2. Delete RAID Volume], then press <Enter> to display the following screen.

Deleting a volume will destroy the volume data on the drive(s) and

cause any member disks to become available as non-RAID disks.

2.Use the up or down arrow keys to select the RAID set you want to delete, then press <Del>.

3.Press <Del> to delete the RAID volume. A confirmation window appears.

[ VOLUME DELETE VERIFICATION ]

ALL DATA IN THE VOLUME WILL BE LOST!!

Are you sure you want to delete volume "RAID_Volume0"? (Y/N)

4.Press <Y> to delete the RAID set; otherwise, press <N> to return to the utility main menu.
