9.The RAID drivers are copied to the floppy disk. After creating a RAID driver disk, eject the floppy disk, then write-protect it to prevent computer virus infection.

10.Press any key to return to the Makedisk menu.

To create a RAID driver disk:

1.Place the motherboard support CD into the CD-ROM drive.

2.When the Drivers menu appears, select the RAID driver disk you want to create:

¥Click Make ITE8211 32/64 bit IDE Driver Disk to create a 32-bit or 64-bit ITE¨ 8211F driver disk.

¥Click Make ICH7 32 bit RAID Driver Disk or Make ICH7 64 bit RAID Driver Disk to create a 32-bit or 64-bit Silicon Image RAID driver disk.

¥Click Make Silicon Image 32bit RAID Driver Disk or Make Silicon Image 32bit SATA Driver Disk to create a Silicon Image RAID driver disk.

Browse the contents of the support CD to locate the driver disk utility.

¥Go to \Drivers\ITE8211\Makedisk for the Silicon Image RAID driver disk utility.

¥Go to \Drivers\Chipset\Intel\Makedisk for the Intel¨ ICH7R RAID driver disk utility.

¥Go to \Drivers\Sil3132 for the Silicon Image RAID driver disk utility.

3.Insert floppy disk to floppy disk drive.

4.Follow succeeding screen information to complete process.

5.Write-protect the floppy disk to avoid computer virus infection.

To install the RAID driver:

1.During the OS installation, the system prompts you to press the F6 key to install third-party SCSI or RAID driver.

2.Press <F6> then insert the floppy disk with RAID driver into the floppy disk drive.

3.Follow the succeeding screen instructions to complete the installation.
