Changing feature options

You can change how the answering system oper-

ates. Press SETUP repeatedly to hear each feature.

When you hear the feature you want to modify

press SKIP or REPEAT to change the setting.

Press SETUP to set selection and move to next menu

option, or press PLAY/STOP to exit.

Select a two-digit number (10-99) for
remote access from another telephone
(page 41).

When on, the telephone beeps every
10 seconds when there are new mes-
sages.
Choose number of rings before the sys-
tem answers a call. When toll saver is
active, the system answers after two rings
if you have new messages, and after four
rings if you have no new messages. When
retrieving messages from a long distance
call, you may disconnect your call after
three rings so that there will be no long
distance charge incurred.
Choose telephone base ringer vol-
ume to high or low level, or turn the
telephone base ringer off.
