Firmware Upgrade Mode

The KL1100’s firmware upgrade mode can be accessed one of two ways: by entering a hotkey sequence (see Console Selection, page 24), or by placing the KL1100 in firmware upgrade recovery mode (see Firmware Upgrade Recovery, page 31).

Note: In order to activate the Firmware Upgrade Mode using a hotkey sequence, the Firmware Upgrade Recovery Switch (see page 7) must be set to the Normal position.

1.Turn off the power to the KL1100 using the power switch located on the back side of the console.

2.Slide the firmware switch to RECOVER (see page 7).

3.Turn on the power to the KL1100 using the power switch located on the back side of the console.

When the KL1100 is in Firmware Upgrade Mode, the Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock LEDs will continually flash on and off.
