NOTE: To differentiate between operating modes, look for HI or LO indication below the battery power level indicator when in GMRS mode.Refer to the appropriate section of this manual for de tailed operating instructions for each mode. When in standby mode, the transmit/receive indicator will flash once every 5 sec onds, indicating the unit is in the power-save mode.

Controls:

Power (PWR) On/Off (15) Button

Press and hold the PWR on/off button for at least 2 seconds. You will hear a confirming melody to indicate the unit is on. To turn the unit off, press and hold the button for at least 2 seconds.

Adjusting the Volume (16, 13)

With the unit powered on, press the Up Channel/Volume button ( ) to increase volume and the Down Channel/Volume button ( ) to decrease
