Applications of the RS232/RS422 connection
Remote control:
• easyadjustment of projector via IBM PC (or compatible) or MAC connection.
• address range : 0 and 1.
• allowstorage of multiple projector configurations and set ups.
• wide range of control possibilities.
Datacommunication: sending data to the projector or copying the data from the projector to the computer.
Toset up the baud rate of the projector, see "Baudrate setup", page 74.

Aspect ratio
Whenthe internal projector aspect ratio is switched to 4 by 3 or 5 by 4 a 12 V D C voltage will set on the Aspect Ratio output. In all
other cases the is no voltage availableon that output.
This12 V voltage can be used to trigger e.g. thecurtains next to the screen when switching from wide image to a small image.
Screen
When the projectoris inoperational mode, a 12 V DC voltageis set on the Screen output. When the projector is in standby, there
is no voltage at the output.
This12 V voltage can be used to trigger e.g. a motor which rolls out the screen when starting up the projector.
