4.HTTP Web Configuration

The web configuration interface provides an easy-to-use user interface for Router configuration. All Router configurations can be done through this interface.

Start your favorite web browser (i.e. Netscape 4.0 or Explore 4.0 higher) and then enter the IP address (default is http://192.168.1.1) in the web page address. The web configuration page will appear.

4.1Quick Configuration

The Quick Configuration page displays DSL Line Status, PPP Status, PPP, IP Address of PPP, and PPP Up Time. Due to the default configuration is RFC1483 Bridge mode, you cannot do anything at the page. If you need to make some advanced configuration, click the Advanced Configuration link. A new window appears prompting you for user name and password needed to gain access the Advanced Configuration page. Use the default user name: admin and password: admin to login. Refer to chapter 5 for detail description.
