Versions with Switch for Microphone and illuminated Ring, phantom-powered (e.g. SHM 214 I and SHM 215 I)

With 3-pinXLR-connector. An XLR flange connector is installed into the tabletop and connected to the amplifier input (pin 1: ground, pin 2: NF+, pin 3: NF-).

The microphone is connected and ready for operation. The microphone and illuminated ring are phantom-powered. With the silent slide switch the microphone and the illuminated ring are switched on or off.

Maintenance

For cleaning the SHM 20x/21x gooseneck microphone use a soft damp cloth. If necessary you can use a mild cleansing agent (such as washing-up liquid). Do not use any solvent agents and make sure that no water enters the transducer element.

Service

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, the microphone should be returned to your beyerdynamic dealer. Dismantling the microphone yourself will render the guarantee null and void.
