SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Your Blower/Vac is double-insulated to give you added safety. In a double insulated appliance, two systems of

insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double insulated appliance, nor

should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double insulated appliance requires extreme

care and knowledge of the system and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a

double insulated appliance must be identical to the parts they replace. A double insulated appliance is marked with the

words double insulated or "double insulation". The symbol (square within a square) may also be marked on the

appliance.

Safety Rules and Instructions: Extension Cords

Double insulated tools have 2-wire cords and can be used with 2-wire or 3-wire extension cords. Only round jacketed

extension cords should be used, and we recommend that they be listed by Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.) (C.S.A. in

Canada). If the extension will be used outside, the cord must be suitable for outdoor use. Any cord marked as outdoor

can also be used for indoor work.

An extension cord must have adequate wire size (AWG or American Wire Gauge) for safety, and to prevent loss of

power and overheating. The smaller the gauge number of the wire, the greater the capacity of the cable, that is 16

gauge has more capacity than 18 gauge. When using more than one extension to make up the total length, be sure

each individual extension contains at least the minimum wire size. Before using an extension cord, inspect it for loose

or exposed wires, damaged insulation, and defective fittings. Make any needed repairs or replace the cord if

necessary.

Black & Decker BV3600R instruction manual Servicing of Double Insul Ted Appliances

BV3600, BV3600R specifications

The Black & Decker BV3600R and BV3600 leaf blowers are powerful tools designed to help homeowners efficiently manage leaves and debris in their yards. With their sleek design and advanced features, these models stand out in the crowded market of outdoor power equipment.

One of the key features of the BV3600R and BV3600 is their powerful motor, which delivers an impressive airflow speed of up to 240 miles per hour. This high-speed performance allows users to clear leaves and debris quickly, making yard work a breeze. The variable speed control is another significant advantage, enabling operators to adjust the blower speed according to the specific task at hand, whether it’s clearing light debris or tackling heavier materials.

Both models showcase the innovative vacuum and mulching function, allowing users to easily switch from blowing to vacuuming mode. The vacuum feature collects leaves and other debris, which can then be shredded into finer pieces. This reduction in volume makes it easier to dispose of garden waste while enriching the compost. The mulching ratio is impressive, efficiently reducing up to 16 bags of leaves into just one bag of mulch.

In terms of design, the BV3600R and BV3600 are lightweight, weighing only around 8 pounds, which enhances maneuverability during extended use. The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip, reducing strain on the user’s wrist and ensuring comfort over longer periods. Moreover, both models include a detachable bag that allows for easy cleanup and disposal of collected debris.

Another standout characteristic is the versatility these blowers offer. They are suitable for a variety of tasks, not only for leaf clearances but also for blowing away grass clippings, dirt, and light snow. This makes the BV3600R and BV3600 a valuable addition to any homeowner’s toolkit, useful throughout the seasons.

The BV3600R and BV3600 also incorporate noise reduction technologies, allowing users to operate the blower without excessive noise, making them suitable for residential areas.

In summary, the Black & Decker BV3600R and BV3600 leaf blowers are equipped with powerful motors, variable speed settings, and versatile functionalities that make yard maintenance efficient and straightforward. Their lightweight design, ergonomic handles, and advanced technology make these models an excellent choice for homeowners looking to simplify their outdoor chores.
