7) While holding the tool with the open end
up, allow the motor to drop into the tool.
8) Insert the 1/4" hex wrench into the
spindle, and turn the spindle until the
gear teeth on the motor engage with the
gears in the tool. The motor will drop
about 1/4" into the tool housing (Figure
8).
9) Inspect all leads for damage; repair or
replace as required.
10) Reattach motor leadwires, routing wires
around the motor can. The wires should
be routed down and inward near the
LED. Ensure the wires are not blocking
the LED.
11) Replace the endcap, tighten the four fasteners to 0.9 N-m head
torque.

Operation Tips

Pulling the trigger once uses about the same amount of battery
power as driving one fastener . Avoid running the tool at “no-load”
to conserve battery power.
•Avoid “feathering” the trigger . Allow the tool to stop automatically
when driving a fastener.

Accessories

Recommended accessories for use with your tool are available at
extra cost from your distributor or local service center.
CAUTION: The use of any non-recommended accessory may
be hazardous.
