Utiliser une tasse pour mesurer précisément la quantité de riz et d’eau qui vont dans le bol. Vérifier la cuisson et la consistance du riz au bout du délai minimal donné et le brasser à ce moment.
Pour modifier le goût du riz, remplacer la quantité d’eau prescrite dans le bol pour le riz par la même quantité de bouillon de poulet, de boeuf ou de légumes. Ajouter les épices ou les assaisonnements avant la cuisson. Ajouter au riz des oignons émincés, du persil ou des champignons.
