3.1 Useof the manual

Thismanual forms an integral part of the appliance and should be
keptfor future reference. Please read it carefully before installing/
usingthe unit. If the appliance is sold, the Seller must pass on this
manualto the new owner along with the appliance.

3.2 Delivery

Theappliance is delivered partially assembled in a cardboard box.
Thesupply package is illustrated in g.1.

3.3 Disposingof packaging

Thepackaging materials are not environmental pollutants but must
still be recycled or disposed of in compliance with the relevant
legislationin the country of use.

3.4 Safetysigns

Complywith the instructions provided by the safety signs tedto
theappliance.
Checkthat they are present and legible; otherwise, replacements
inthe original positions.
E1sign – Indicates that the appliance must not be disposed of as
municipalwaste; it may be handed in to the dealer on purchase of a
newappliance. The appliance's electrical and electronic parts must
not be reused for improper uses since they contain substances
whichconstitute health hazards.

3.4.1 Symbols

E2symbol – Indicates that the appliance is intended for
professional use, i.e. for experienced people informed
about the relative technical, regulatory and legislative
aspectsand capable of performing the operations neces-
saryfor the use and maintenance of the appliance.
E3symbol – Indicates that the appliance is intended for
non-professional(domestic) use.

4.1 Envisageduse

Thisappliance has been designed for individual use for the cleaning
ofvehicles, machines, boats, masonry, etc, to remove stubborn dirt
usingclean water and biodegradable chemical detergents.
Vehicleengines may be washed only if the dirty water is disposed of
asper regulations in force.
- Intake water temperature:See data plate on the appliance.
- Intake water pressure:Bel ow10 bar.
- Operating ambient temperature:Above 0°C.

4.2 Operator

Thesymbol on the front cover iden theappliance’s intended
operator(professional or non-professional).

4.3 Improperuse

Useby unskilled persons or those who have not read and under-
stoodthe instructions in the manual is forbidden.
Theintroduction of e,explosiveand toxic liquids into the
applianceis prohibited.
Use of the appliance in a potentially or explosive
atmosphereis forbidden.
Theuse of non-original spare parts and any other spare parts not
intendedfor the model in question is prohibited.
All ationsto the appliance are prohibited. Any ations
madeto the appliance shall render the Declaration of Conformity
nulland void and relieve the manufacturer of all liability under civil
andcriminal law.

4.5 Safetydevices

Caution- Danger!
Do not tamper with or adjust the safety valve set-
ting.
- Safety valve and pressure limiting valve.
Thesafety valve is also a pressure limiting valve. When the gun
trigger is released, the valve opens and the water recirculates
throughthe pump inlet.
- Safety catch (D): prevents accidental spraying of water.

5.1 Assembly

Caution- Danger!
All installation and assembly operations must be
performedwith the appliance disconnected from the mains
powersupply.
Theassembly sequence is illustrated in g.2.

5.2 Assemblingthe rotating nozzle

(Formodels with this feature)
Therotating nozzle kit delivers greater washing power.

5.3 Electricalconnection

Caution- Danger!
Check that the electrical supply voltage and frequen-
cy (V-Hz) correspond to those on the appliance
dataplate g.2).The appliance should only be connected
toa mains power supply equipped with an adequate earth
connection and a d erential security breaker (30 mA)
tocut the electricity supply in the instance of a short
circuit.

5.3.1 Useof extension cables

Usecables featuring “IP25”protection level.
Thecross-section of the ex tensioncable should be pro -
portionate to its length; the longer it is, the greater its
cross-sectionshould be. See table I.

5.4 Watersupply connection

Caution- Danger!
Onlycleanor teredwatershouldbe used for intake.
Thedelivery of the water intake tap should be equal to that
ofpump capacity.
Placethe appliance as close to the water supply system as possible.

5.4.2 Connectionto the mains water supply

The appliance can be connected directly to the mains
drinkingwat ted with
a ow preventer valve as per current regulations in
force.Make sure that the hose is at least Ø 13 mm and
thatit is reinforced.
