SMART SELECT DIAL (FIGURES D1, D2 & E)

The Smart Select Dial is used to control orbit, straight cut guide and handle positions of

the saw.

The saw has two settings:

1.) Straight cutting in wood (figure D1).

In this cutting mode, the straight cutting

D1

guide is projected under the shoe and rides

in the sawʼs cutting path to keep the saw

straight.

Blade orbital action is on.

NOTICE: Check alignment of straight cutting

guide before each use.

2.) Curved or straight cutting in all other

D2

materials (wood, metal, pvc, etc. (figure D2))

In this mode, the guide is retracted and the

blade orbital action is off.
