timer that gives you consistent, even- colored toasting even with multiple toasting cycles. You don’t have to wait for the toaster to cool down between toasting cycles to get good results.

Place the bread slices or toaster foods in the slots. Press the Corner Control Lever down until it clicks. The Lever will not go all the way down to the Dial settings. There will be approximately 1” between the depressed Lever and the Shade Dial.

The Self-Adjusting Bread Guides will automatically adjust to hold thick or thin slices in place. The toasted items will pop up automatically at the end of the cycle. You may use either slot if you are toasting only one slice.

NOTE: If food becomes wedged in the toast slot, unplug the cord from the outlet. Move the Control Lever up and down a few times to raise “jammed” food. To avoid a shock haz- ard, never use metal utensils to free food.

CANCEL TOASTING FEATURE

To interrupt the toasting cycle at any time during its operation, simply slide your finger between the Shade Dial and the Corner Control Lever and lift the Control Lever up (Figure B).

These tools are created to meet the diverse needs of both professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts, ensuring that every task, big or small, can be completed efficiently and effectively.

The Black & Decker T270 is primarily known for its powerful motor, offering robust performance that delivers high torque and speed. This makes it an ideal choice for heavy-duty applications such as driving screws into hardwood or tackling tough materials. With an ergonomic design, the T270 is not only powerful but also comfortable to use, featuring a rubberized handle that reduces vibration and provides a secure grip during extended sessions of work.

In contrast, the T271 model focuses on precision and convenience. One of its standout features is the variable speed control, which allows users to adjust the speed according to the task at hand. This is particularly beneficial when working with delicate materials or when precision is key. The T271 also incorporates a built-in LED light that illuminates dark work areas, ensuring that users can see their work clearly, regardless of the conditions.

Both the T270 and T271 are equipped with BLACK+DECKER's patented Smart Select technology, which automatically adjusts torque and speed settings based on the application. This intelligent feature minimizes user effort and maximizes efficiency, making it easier to switch between different tasks without the need for manual adjustments.

Battery performance is another crucial aspect of these models. They utilize lithium-ion battery technology, which provides longer run times and shorter charging periods compared to traditional batteries. This ensures that both the T270 and T271 are ready for action whenever you are, without the hassle of long downtimes.

In summary, the Black & Decker T270 and T271 models exemplify the brand's commitment to producing high-performance, versatile tools that cater to the needs of users.
