• Move the iron backwards and forwards while
this is happening.
• Release the self-clean button.
• Stand the appliance upright on its heel rest.
• Plug the appliance in and switch on.
• Iron an old cloth or towel to dry the soleplate.
Warning! Before manual cleaning and
maintenance, switch the appliance off, remove
the plug from the socket and allow the appliance
to cool.
Warning! Do not immerse the appliance, the
cord set or the plug in water or any other liquid.
• Pour out any remaining water after each use
by tilting the appliance forward.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
• Wipe scale and other residues off the
soleplate with a damp cloth.
• Do not use scouring pads.
• If necessary, use a mild detergent to remove
spots.
• Do not use any abrasive or solvent based
cleaner.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
