Road and traffic safety
Road and traffic safety have ab- solute priority. Only operate your car radio if the road and traffic conditions allow you to do so. Familiarise your- self with the device before setting off on your journey.
You should always be able to hear police, fire and ambulance sirens from afar. For this reason, set the volume of whatever you are listen- ing to at a reasonable level.

Installation
If you want to install your car radio your- self, please read the installation and connection instructions that follow these operating instructions.
Accessories
Only use accessories approved by Blau- punkt.
Remote control
The RC 08, RC 10 or RC 10H remote controls (available as optional accesso- ries) allow you to safely and convenient- ly access the main functions of your car radio.
Amplifier
All Blaupunkt amplifiers can be used.
Calibration microphone
You can use the calibration microphone (available as an accessory) for the equalizer’s automatic sound calibration feature.
CD changer
The following CD changers can be ob- tained from accessory retailers for con- nection with this device: CDC A02, CDC A 08, CDC A 072 und IDC A 09.
