Das Niveau des Bassausgangs des Subwoofers variiert je nachdem, an welcher Stelle im Raum man ihn aufstellt. Wird er nahe einer Wand positioniert, wird die Lautstärke betont. Ein Aufstellen in der Ecke bietet den höchsten Bassausgang. Wird er ganz von der Wand weg gestellt, wird eventuell zu wenig Bass erzeugt.
