Changing the Brush Head

The blue Indicator bristles fade halfway to signal when it is time to replace the brush head. It is recommended that brush heads be replaced every 3 to 4 months.

A worn-out brush head is not only less effective at removing plaque than a new brush head, it can also damage your gums. When brushing twice a day for two minutes each time, the blue Indicator bristles will fade halfway in approximately 3 to 4 months, signaling that it is time to replace the brush head.

*Replacement brush heads are sold separately. Please purchase at your nearby store.

Please note that brush heads other than those designed for Braun Oral-B Sonic Complete (SR18-2) should not be used.
