This symbol indicates that the

Braun Oral-B Sonic Complete contains

a nickel cadmium battery. At the end of the product's life, please dispose of the rechargeable battery inside the handle properly. This battery cannot be replaced, but it is easily removed for recycling or proper disposal.

To help protect your environment, please dispose of the battery properly at approved recycling or disposing locations in accordance with local regulations.

Please do not disassemble the handle except for disposal purposes. Once disassembled, repair of the handle is not possible.

1Bring bottom of handle in line with the groove on the bottom of the charger base and turn counter- clockwise for approximately 60 degrees (until it can no longer be turned).

2Point handle downwards and push against a hard surface. The motor and internal parts containing the batteries will come out from the handle.

3Pull out internal parts.

4Being careful not to injure yourself, take out the motor and cylindrical batteries.

5Remove batteries by using a screwdriver or the like to break off the end of the batteries from the printed circuit board.

6Please take the used batteries to the recycling box of your nearest recycling location.
