Installing the Driver & Software
Make sure that you have completed the in structions from Step 1 “Setting Up
the Machine” on pages 2 - 5.
1Make sure that the NC-9100h (Netw ork
Print/Fax Server) is installed into the DCP.
(See “Optional accessories” in Chapter 8 of
the User's Guide.)
2Disconnect the DCP from the powe r socket
and from the Macintosh®, if you have
already connected an interface cable.
3Turn on your Macintosh®.
4Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your
CD-ROM drive.
5Double-click the Start Here OS 8.6-9.2 icon
to install the printer and s canner drivers. If
the language screen appears, select your
language.
6Click MFL-Pro Suite to install.
7Follow the on-screen instru ctions, and
restart your Macintosh®.
8Connect the network interface cable to the
DCP, and then connect it to a free port on
your hub.
9Plug in the power cord and tur n on the DCP.
