Step 1 Setting Up the Machine

1Install the Automatic Document Feed (ADF) Support

Do NOT connect the interface cable. Co nnecting the interface cable is done when in stalling the d river.

1Open the ADF cover.

2Insert the tabs of ADF support into the holes of the ADF one side at a time.

3 Push ADF Support down until it latches in place.

2Install the Drum Unit Assembly

1Open the front cover by pressing the front cover release button.

2Unpack the drum unit assembly. Remove the protective part.

4 Close the ADF cover.
