Network Printing from Macintosh®
TCP/IP Printing for Macintosh®
This chapter explains how to print from Macintosh® on a Network.
For more information on how to configure the default Quick Draw
driver on a Network, see the Quick Setup Guide included with the
machine.
Rendezvous Printing (Mac OS® 10.2.4 or greater)
Rendezvous lets you create an instant network of computers and
smart devices just by connecting them to each other.
Rendezvous support allows a Rendezvous ready printer or MFC to
automatically configure itself to work in a Mac OS® X Rendezvous
system. You do not need to manually configure any IP address or
network settings within the printer as the printer will automatically
configure itself.
Refer to the information below if you wish to learn how to configure
a Brother machine into a Mac OS® X Rendezvous environment.
Please note Brother recommends that you use version Mac OS®
10.2.4 or greater.
