With the slots oriented as shown (lettering upright, USB on right), SD cards should be inserted “face down” (metal contacts on card facing up, notched corner on rear left). To insert, push it clicks. To remove SD cards, push in again, then pull out. CF cards (face up) simply push in/pull out.
